Helping children and families remove barriers to learning through accessible spaces, school engagement, and dignity-centred support.
Inclusive Education is AWL’s access pillar. It focuses on the practical barriers that keep children with disabilities away from learning: steps, narrow entrances, stigma, limited learning support, and families being left to navigate school systems alone. Through the Nyakinengo Hub and partner-school conversations, AWL wants every learner to be seen as capable and supported from the beginning.
As this work grows, AWL will publish consent-cleared stories, practical updates, activity summaries, and partner notes that help supporters understand what changed and what still needs support.
